These are general laundry recommendation for quilts I made.

You will get specific info for your quilt on delivery!

Less is more; do not wash your quilt more often than necessary, air it instead outside or use your dryer air fluff program for several minutes;

Wash it in cool/tepid water with a mild, unscented, liquid based detergent without bleach or fabric softener;

Use a color catcher (e.g. Shout Color Catcher) in case any fabric bleeds and a half cup of vinegar to keep the colors fresh; if any color bleeding has happened rinse the quilt extensively or rewash it with a color catcher until the bleeding is gone before drying;

Use a short, gentle and delicate washing program and take the quilt out of the machine promptly;

You can dry your quilt in the dryer on low temperature; take it out after the half time of the drying process and rearrange it in the dryer to make sure every part get dried evenly;

You can carefully iron your quilt if you prefer a less wrinkled look;

check regularly for loose threads and minor holes especially in the t-shirts and get them repaired.

Storage recommendation:

Store your quilt when it is not used in a cotton or muslin bag in a dry and dark place; you can roll or fold it and to prevent permanent creases just take it out every few month, air it, check it and then restore it.

And the most important thing at the end:

Enjoy your new quilt!
